2024 Meetings

Tuesday 17th December 2.30pm. The Lens of Sutton Photograph Collection by John Minnis  

The late, lamented John Smith, was the proprietor of a shop known as Lens of Sutton, and created an archive which covered many railway companies including the NLR.

This will be held at:

THE ALAN BAXTER GALLERY 77 Cowcross Street, London EC1M 6EL.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A DIFFERENT VENUE FROM THAT USED FOR PREVIOUS MEETINGS

How to get there:

The gallery is located a few minutes’ walk from Farringdon station, which is served by the Circle Line, Elizabeth Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Metropolitan Line and Thameslink. A map showing the location of the gallery is included below, along with photographs showing the venue. To reach the hall, take the passageway seen on the left of the exterior view, then enter by way of the doorway on the right. Refreshments are not available during the talk, but there are a number of coffee shops and the suchlike in the vicinity and takeaway drinks may be brought into the hall. Guests are most welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.
